Kaftan
Rachel lives in her kaftans no matter the season, but if you’re new to this wardrobe piece, she explains that summer is the time to try one! “A flowy silhouette is ideal in hot weather,” our CURATEUR-in-chief says. “But if you’re worried about it feeling too casual, simply dress it up with layers of jewelry and a pair of heels. It works for me every time!” And Baker adds that his favorite use of a kaftan is tossed over a swimsuit. If you want something super versatile, just choose one in a neutral color, like ivory or black!
Woven Hat
“I designed the Riviera Hat this season to make any look feel more complete, but still so laid-back,” Rachel explains. Her favorite way to wear this type of hat is paired with your chic beachwear or resort wear (like a kaftan, obviously!). Go monochromatic to feel even more pulled together!
Sunglasses
Clearly sunglasses are an essential for practical purposes, but there’s no reason they can’t be super stylish! “Sunglasses are an accessory I’m always associated with—and for good reason,” Rachel says. “They’re such an easy way to punctuate any look and any mood, whether you want to look super glamorous or classically cool.”
Lightweight Layering Piece
A cardigan, shawl, or even a pullover is a functional piece that can also be so fashionable! Pro tip: Pick something lightweight so it’s easier to pack or carry with you. “Keep one stashed in your oversized bag for when the ocean breeze is too strong or the sun starts to set,” Baker suggests.
Breezy Dress
“A breezy dress is an obvious choice for staying cool and looking hot,” Baker shares. Whether you go crisp and clean (like an oversized shirt dress) or flowy and floral, just make sure you pick something with a little movement to keep you comfortable in the heat while still providing maximum chicness.

Oversized Bag
This season, size matters when it comes to your bag. “A mini bag (no matter how cute) just won’t cut it at the beach,” Baker explains. “Bring a stylish catch-all so you don’t leave any essentials behind.”
A Pop of Color
“Bright colors are easier to add in small doses,” Rachel says. “Try it this season with jewelry, a hair accessory, or a bag. Paired with neutrals, these pieces will stand out without being overwhelming!”
