Being a hairstylist, I noticed that there was a void in luxury haircare. At the time, hair products were mostly commodities, so I created products formulated with skincare technology and ingredients that are innovative and performance driven.
How has the hair industry changed since the conception of the FEKKAI brand?
Today the customer wants products that are safe, clean, sustainable, performant, and purpose driven.
How have you adapted to this changing industry?
In buying back my namesake brand, I immediately reformulated all the products to clean, vegan formulas and repackaged with recycled plastics.
What does the FEKKAI brand look like in 2022 and beyond?
The FEKKAI brand will always search for greater innovation in formulas and packaging. The technology is getting better and better. We will continue to look for ways to satisfy our customers and contribute to creating a cleaner environment.
