Chan Luu started creating jewelry on the beaches of her hometown Nha Trang, Vietnam. After a successful career in fashion and retail that spanned twenty years, she launched her namesake brand which is now under the creative direction of her niece, Tessa Tran. Of the brand's accessories and jewelry, the stunning prints silk scarves are Rachel Zoe's favorites. She loves them so much, in fact, she couldn't choose between two prints so the Spring 2019 edition of Box of Style featured two options for members to select themselves.  

Box of Style: What inspires your designs? 

Chan Luu: I really value handcrafted products, made ethically and with the highest quality materials. When I expanded my line to scarves, my first style was the skinny scarf – hand embroidered chiffon, embellished with chain and seed beads. It was the perfect accessory because it looked great with minimalist and maximalist outfits. Recently we started designing with 100% silk fabrics in different shapes and sizes. The scarf I designed for Box of Style is a tribute to the classic scarf every girl would borrow from their grandma. This style is timeless and chic. Everything we do is designed with so much thought and love. We still design everything in-house and all first samples are made in LA so that we can control every aspect of the design process.
