Summer dressing should be all about ease, which is why Rachel relies upon only a few trend-driven essentials to update her uniform for the season. Here, she’s sharing the pieces every woman needs, and the process by which she hand-selected them for the Box of Style members.

The St. Barth's Cover-Up

“Nothing says summer like crisp white pieces which is why I chose this white Bindya cover-up. It can be worn so many different ways, but I adore it paired with trousers, either loose over a cropped pair or tucked into a wide-leg version. It is also the perfect travel piece because you can wear it over a bathing suit as a cover-up by day, then segue to evening by tossing a floor-length duster jacket over the top. Thanks to the lace-up, embroidered neckline and pom-pom detailing it doesn’t need much jewelry to look elevated. Just throw it on and go!”

Style The St. Tropez Tote

A neutral bag for stashing all your essentials—whether you’re heading to the office or the pool—is a daily necessity. I love a woven style for summer and this black and white version reminds me of St. Tropez. I think it looks incredibly chic with a monochromatic look or a print and the long straps make it very convenient for traveling.”

Style The Hampton's Earrings

“Statement jewelry can elevate any outfit to head-turning territory. I’ve been obsessed with fringe forever, and this playful white pair looks great with everything from jeans and a tee to a printed maxi-dress. Wear them with hair up, a sun-kissed glow and a breezy ensemble for an effortless summer look.”

Style The Positano Towel

“Spending time with friends and family is what summer is all about. If I’m hosting at home I want to make sure there are ample towels, and throw blankets for guests, which is why I selected these printed styles from Skova. The vibrant colors add a jet-set vibe to any space and they’re so large you can fit the whole family on one for a picnic or a day at the beach. I’m styling it in my garden with succulents, hurricane candles and plush outdoor pillows.”
